ABOUT THE YIW EVENT

At Maple Overseas Cultural Foundation, we co-op with Canada Innovation Space， Rideau Hall Foundation, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), V3 Education Group and Canada Royal Northville College together to create Youth Innovation Week 2022 which is from 16 May to 20 May this year. We invite many professionals as our speakers to participate this youth forum and workshops.

YIW 2022 event is for the youth, especially for Grade 6-12 students who involved or interested in user experience design, product design, user research, interaction design, information architecture, usability, accessibility and other associated fields.

This YIW 2022 is an annual learning opportunity dedicated to bringing all product and service design disciplines together, from research, marketing, design, technology and the business to name a few, who are interested and passionate about designing great experiences for people and business for a better world for all.

“Innovating for Better Health: Supporting Young Innovators through Mental Awarness!”

YIW 2022 was organized to remark the Days and Weeks, bringing together young people from different regions.

Video Competition : Participant Video Works

Entrants were requested to submit a short video clip under the theme: “We are young and innovative. Let’s build a better future!”. A group of judges created a shortlist of 10 videos from all were submitted through May 16 to May 20 which were then subjected from. An online public vote will collect all ballots in the total.

Youth Mental-health Awarness

YIW Director Dr. William C. Tssi underscoring the fact that half the world’s population is under the age of 30 and the fastest-growing demographic in many parts of the world. Younger people are already working on solutions to shared issues, supported humen mental awarness.The Youth Innovitation Week 2022 (YIW 2022) winners sent the message globally that young people are stepping up to innovation challenges, using their energy and creativity to steer a course towards a better future.

This year, YIW is celebrating the vision and dynamism of young innovators and creators everywhere. At a time when humanity needs to come together to address a range of urgent challenges - from overcoming the pandemic, to combatting climate change - we must help our youths to realize their innovation potential.
